Producer Accreditation

A maximum of two people per company may register — one should be a producer. The second participant may be the author, director, creator, head of animation, or another key member of the creative team. No additional representatives can be added after the project submission deadline.

APD is primarily a European market, funded by Creative Europe MEDIA. Participating producers should be based in:

• One of the 27 EU member states, or
• A country associated with Creative Europe MEDIA: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Ukraine.

Submissions from other countries may be considered if the producers clearly demonstrate their intent to find independent European co-production partners.

All submissions must be made in English via the online submission form. Required information includes:

Texts & Details

• Company profile (max. 800 characters)
• Contact info for the registered representatives
• Project info (title, creative team, format, genre, technique, target group)
• Financing details (total budget, partners)
• Project synopsis (max. 500 characters)
• Statements from the producer and/or director about the project: unique aspects, visual concept, transmedia approach, etc. (max. 900 characters)
• Response to: “What are we looking for at APD?” (max. 300 characters)

Files

• Portrait photo of the registered participant(s)
• At least 2 project visuals (landscape format, no text, JPG, RGB, 1079 x 685 px)
• Optional: trailer/teaser (link can be provided in the form)
• Comprehensive Project PDF (max. 20 pages / 15 MB): A single PDF document that may include your project concept, bible, visual development, team biographies, track records, and any additional material you would like the selection committee to review. This file should give a complete and compelling overview of your project.

• Originality, creativity, and innovation in concept and design
• Openness to international co-productions
• Potential for success in the European and global markets

• Company’s track record and past experience with European co-productions
• Professional background of the creative team
• Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and sustainability
• At least 50% of Producer Programme participants are intended to be women
• Support for producers from countries with low audiovisual production capacity (Group B, as defined by Creative Europe MEDIA)* Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia, Ukraine)

Participants from these countries benefit from a reduced accreditation fee of € 345 per person (incl. 7% VAT).

• You will be informed no later than 28 February 2026 if your project is selected.
• The registered representatives will then be automatically accredited as Producers.
• The participation fee is due upon receipt of the invoice.
• Accreditation is only valid if the project is selected.
