Mission Statement

The aim of Film- und Medienfestival gGmbH (FMF) is to promote high-quality films and sophisticated media content. With the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) and the Animation Production Days (APD), we bring together cinematic art, media education, cultural participation and economic networking. We understand animation as a versatile art form and means of expression, and showcase it in all its facets – from artistic short films and international feature-length films to innovative games. In doing so, we create spaces for encounter, exchange and new perspectives.

The Film and Media Festival gGmbH (FMF) is committed to responsible corporate governance. Our aim is to strike an appropriate balance between economic, ecological, and social concerns and continuously adapt our programmes with sustainability in mind.

Business Ethics

Passion and enthusiasm for our projects unite us as a team. We aim to inspire, open up new perspectives and provide impetus for the further development of film, animation and digital projects.

We act transparently, responsibly and reliably, guided by clear ethical principles. In doing so, we pursue only lawful business objectives and practices and maintain relationships exclusively with reputable partners. We respect personal rights and comply with the applicable legal and regulatory requirements regarding the processing of personal data. Confidential information and intellectual property are protected in accordance with the relevant legal provisions.

Corporate Culture

We foster an open, respectful and transparent working culture characterised by mutual support and trust. We reject any form of unlawful punishment, abuse, harassment, intimidation or other undignified treatment of employees; we ensure fair working conditions and apply the relevant employment law to all employment relationships. The statutory provisions regarding remuneration for work are applied. We ensure that health and safety at work regulations and working time regulations are complied with. Employees are informed about safety risks and trained in appropriate protective and behavioural measures. Flexible working time models and remote working enable our employees to adapt to different life circumstances.

Diversity & equal Opportunities

Treating one another with respect and ensuring equal opportunities are a matter of course for us. We are firmly committed to diversity and believe that different perspectives enrich our shared lives and strengthen creative processes. We reject any form of unequal treatment or discrimination based on national or ethnic origin, social background, health status, disability, sexual orientation, age, gender, political opinion, religion or belief. In the event of violations, we reserve the right to refuse individuals access to our events. If you observe or experience discriminatory behaviour, please contact: xbagnxg@srfgviny-tzou.qr or 0711 – 925 46 – 0.

Social Responsibility

The FMF sees its work as a contribution to an open and diverse society. Promoting diverse participation by breaking down barriers is a central principle of our work.

Through our events, we facilitate cultural exchange and provide access to film and media culture for a wide audience.

Supporting the next generation of creative talent is a particular priority for us. We create spaces for exchange, knowledge-sharing and networking, thereby supporting the next generation of filmmakers and industry professionals.

Environmental Responsibility

We want to leave a lasting impression on our guests – but as little impact as possible on the environment. The protection and preservation of our natural resources concern and are the responsibility of us all.

With this in mind, we conduct our business in an environmentally responsible manner and are committed to the goal of a climate-neutral future. We organise our events as ‘Green Event BW’. Green Event BW recognises events in Baden-Württemberg that are planned and implemented sustainably. To ensure compliance with the measures under the Green Event concept, we also rely on the support of partners, service providers and our guests.

We welcome feedback or specific suggestions on how we can work together to further develop our events in a sustainable manner: xbagnxg@srfgviny-tzou.qr.
