Talent Accreditation

• Students and recent graduates from European universities or film schools with a focus on animation
• Young professionals and company founders (up to 35 years of age)
• Applicants must have a registered address in one of the 27 EU member states or a country associated with the Creative Europe MEDIA programme (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Ukraine)

A maximum of two people per project may apply, one of whom must be a producer. The second applicant can be the author/scriptwriter, creator, director, head of animation or another member of the creative team.

Please note:

• Each person/company may submit only one project.
• It is not possible to add further project representatives after the application deadline.
• Projects or individuals who have previously participated in the Talent Programme are not eligible to apply again.

Information (in English only):

• Company profile (max. 800 characters), or personal profile for individual applicants
• Contact details of project representatives applying for the Talent Programme
• Project data: title, participants, format, genre, animation technique, target audience, etc.
• Financing details: budget and partners
• Synopsis (max. 500 characters)
• Director’s/Producer’s personal statement about the project (USP, visual concept, cross-/transmedia strategy, etc.) (max. 900 characters)
• Short answer to: “What are we looking for at APD?” (max. 300 characters)

Files:

• Photos of the registered participant(s)
• At least 2 project visuals (landscape format, no text, JPG, RGB, 1079 x 685 px)
• Comprehensive Project PDF (max. 20 pages / 15 MB): A single PDF document that may include your project concept, bible, visual development, team biographies, track records, and any additional material you would like the selection committee to review. This file should give a complete and compelling overview of your project.
• Optional: trailer/teaser (link can be provided in the form)

Selection will be based on:

• Originality and creativity of the content and design
• Suitability for international co-productions
• Market potential within Europe and beyond

We aim for at least 50% female participation in the programme.
Special consideration will be given to projects that:

• Promote sustainability, inclusion, and diversity
• Originate from EU countries with low audiovisual production capacity

Up to 8 projects will be selected for participation. Results will be announced by 28 February 2026.

• You will be informed no later than 28 February 2026 if your project is selected.
• The registered representatives will then be automatically accredited as Talents.
• Accreditation is only valid if the project is selected.
